Saints & Pats would've been a better matchup

I'd have preferred Saints Chiefs, but yes you're right.

The Rams got 2 TD knocked away by the great NE defensive play. Otherwise, Ram could have won 17-13.

I bet the NFL is really mad at that referee for blowing the dirty hit against the Saints that knocked them out now. Because of that they got cock blocked on the Brees/Brady Bowl. Which would of probably pulled better numbers.

Goff threw that first pass waaay too late to a wide open receiver that should have been an easy TD is he makes the right play. It was indeed a great play but McCourty just to get there in time, but a decent read make that an easy score. The second one was just a straight up drop. Cooks dropped the ball before he got hit. It wasn't knocked away.

The Rams beat the Saints, get over it, Katrina victims, Saints fans are such crybabies. Yeah the blown call was awful but people are forgetting that the Saints got the ball first in OT with a chance to win and Brees shit his pants.
The Rams were a very good team and were competitive in Super Bowl 53, they didn’t get destroyed and the game wasn’t decided until towards the end.

On the overtime interception, Brees was hit on the head on a clear roughing the passer penalty that wasn't called. On the same play, Michael Thomas was interfered with on another clear pass reference call, that wasn't called. Brees didn't shit his pants. He was screwed by cheating referees.

You’ve become just as bad as DC Fan with your cheating conspiracy theories. Shut the fuck up, the NFL did everything they could to give the Saints a title after Katrina, literally everyone in the league and in power wanted them to win.

Shut the fuck up, the NFL did everything they could to give the Saints a title after Katrina, literally everyone in the league and in power wanted them to win. Both of your replies to movieliker were spot on.THIRTEEN and a half long years after katrina and it appears the NFL's pity based bias for the saints has FINALLY ran out. The Saints were even gifted a few parting gifts in the form of blatant face masks penalties being ignored. One that would have given the Rams a first down near the goal line. Basically 14 years after the actual disaster the nfl finally evens the playing field for saints opponents with minutes left in the penultimate game of the season. How do saints fans show their gratitude for a gift wrapped fake championship and almost 14 years of favoritism? Hugs and high fives? A kick ass party with an open bar for all officials and the nfl execs? A simple but heart felt "Thank You"?!! Nope. Non stop hateful abuse and lawsuits. Crazed conspiracy theories. Death threats and verbal assaults and promises of more to follow. Ending careers via bountygate? Harmless hi jinks. Blowing a call? Something that happens in nearly every game and effected every team at some point in equally painful fashion. The worst thing that has happened in the history of sports. Nay. Not just sports. In history. Slavery. Holocaust. That no flag on the alleged pass interference. And the order of which is worse is debatable. In retrospect, saints probably should have ran the ball and the clock and kicked a field goal. Also drew throwing that pick was a mistake too. Oh well.

I would say Rams didn't belong not because of the one bad calls that went against them but because their QB seems to be still not fit for the big stage. Saints would have offered us a better game with their veteran QB. Maybe even Pats would have performed better if they faced Saints. But Rams were horrible and bored us to death.
