Dickie V can’t go 2 minutes without sucking Blue Devil dick, it’s surprising he went on about Pitino since there’s no Duke connection. He’s an awful announcer, nothing he says is coherent or insightful, it’s incoherent babbling.

he's getting a lifetime achievement award (at what ceremony I have no clue - keith olbermann just did an interview with him)
to me he's larger than life. always has been.
memories of getting in illegal ncaa tourney pools as a kid in school - going home and listening to Dickie V scream his head off.
many can say he lost his luster.
to me - he's a God.

No idea if he and Pitino are secret bffs but he's part of the hoopla and hype of college basketball. He's also a good color guy although I don't mind not hearing him during the actual NCAA tournament. His shtick is more for the regular season imo.
