As brownstones has already pointed out, this isn't exactly the first look we've had at Ares.
I'm just glad that he doesn't appear to be a cloud monster. I remember back in January, there was someone on Reddit who claimed that they saw a test screening of the film, and said that Ares would be a giant cloud, just like Galactus and Parallex.
