Was Werewolf by Night originally a Spider-Man character? The contract with Sony is for Spider-Man connected characters. If Werewolf by Night didn't make its first or main appearance in Amazing Spider-Man then that character might not be part of that deal.
I hope the Morbius movie is successful, but its delay (even though pandemic related) doesn't bode well. The last trailer showed some cool stuff, but...
EDIT: 1st appearance in Marvel Spotlight #2. So he's not necessarily a Spider-Man character. Sony may not have the rights, and I don't think MCU is going there just yet.
