...not that there's a lot to say about this game. PSG look the more likely with Drexler catching the eye, Pogba is nowhere to be found and Martial and Rashford must be on diets, so starved of service, are they? That's about it. Needs a goal to get the game going.

6 yellow cards so far and the bright yellow whistle in ref's mouth look like him clenching yellow card on stand by.
Kimpembe, he's scored. De Gea beaten as his defence stands still.

Look at that. It's played wide of the United flat back four, where Di Maria picks it up on the left flank. Meanwhile Mbappe is tearing through the heart of the back four and Di Maria crosses one in which Mbappe slots home. Nothing-two on the hour.

A cruel reality check for OGS and his boys.
PSG have been playing together for a while and it showed. Manu is recovering from the madness of Jose and that will take time. PSG had no Neymar but they did have Drexler, Di Maria, and MBappe. Drexler impressed me but he's a bench warmer usually. Tonight he did for PSG what OGS probably hoped Pogba might do for the Reds. Instead, his superstar was made to look inept and was eventually red-carded. Saved Ole the embarrassment of hooking him. Really disappointed in Martial and Radford, although the latter was expertly shunted to the sidelines by the outstanding PSG defense. Martial seemed to be on another planet

Good to see Man U wearing those ridiculous Super Rugby uniforms, getting what looks like a fatal loss at home and losing one of their better players for the return leg. Perfect evening all round.

Solskjaer looks like a hurt schoolboy when he loses.

And just like that, the magic spell was broken and the United board sighed with relief to know that they could ring up Spurs after all.

"Yeah it is (unlucky)," Solskjaer said. "He is trying to get his body across and Alves is clever enough to put his foot in there so it hits him from the side. I know Paul just wants to shield the ball, and then he's unlucky and it hits him on the knee." Oh fuck off you little shit!
