Even tho its cancelled I was looking forward to it, I like both MIB and the Jump Street movies. Granted it did seem odd to put the two together and I heard Jones and Smith would not return, what would be the point of calling it a crossover without the leads from both franchises?? I thought it was weird that they had a writer and a director attached but it never moved forward. I also hope they make 23 Jump Street soon but everyone seems busy. I assume the movie would have been about Schmidt and Jenko joining the MIB and battling an alien menace. Such a strange idea tho lol. Thoughts??

I don’t really think the two would make an effective crossover. I do hope they make 23 Jump Street too, though.

I thought it was a horrible idea reeking of desperation. I like MiB. The first one is a fun action comedy. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are amazing together in that. It holds up surprisingly well over two decades later. Didn't care at all for part two. Huge stepdown in entertainment value and too crass for its own good. MiB3 is better. It's brighter, has more colorful action, and the ending is sweet. But, the film series ran its course. Jones is going to look like a mummified alien if they ever did a part four. Love Will Smith but what's he really gonna bring that we hadn't seen before with that role?

And I liked the first two but the third was a let down. Probably because Smith and Jones shared little screentime.

The way I've been hoping they'd go with a 4th MiB is a prequel set in 1968 focusing on the Xeronian migration referenced in the original. That would allow for Josh Brolin to return as young Agent K.
