I have some time now so before I forget it I made a thread for this. Based on the pre-winter break quality I would give the edge to Ajax. The quality of the Ajax - Bayern game is far higher than what Real has shown in the CL so far. However, Ajax has been in a lesser period since the new year and Real slowly seems to get back to the its former superior level. Objectively I'd say Real has a bigger chance of winning at this point, but my personal prediction is still 2 - 1 for Ajax. Besides the fact that I'm rooting for them, I think they've shown to be a team worthy of the knock-out phase and they could be the big surprise of the CL this week. But we'll see. What's your prediction?

Ajax has scored 31 goals in their last 7 home games while Madrid has scored 15 goals in their last 7 away games. You might expect a high goal scoring game but it is a different competition and you usually see fewer goals in CL than in league games. I have gone for 2-2.

Ajax have been terrible after the winter break.
Real Madrid have been pretty good after the winter break.

Just remove the VAR already. And not because it can't be useful (it can definitely be), but because some people are just too stupid to know when to use it and when not to.

Seems like the side of the dirtiest player in the game is probably going to walk out as winners. Hope Ajax find an equalizer. It would help me in the CL tourney as well if they could find an equalizer. |
