I prefer Fanny May but can't find it around here and its too expensive to order online now. I loved the Trinidads (dark chocolate buttercream, white chocolate coating with roasted coconut) and the dark Mays, chocolate buttercream with a dark chocolate coating.)

Used to get it in CA. Then they came here, but I haven't bothered with them.

They've been around here for a gazillion years, but I haven't bought any for 3 or 4 hundred years. Some of their stuff is too sweet, like some cake icings.
Nuts, my favorite regional candy company is Fran's ... I think in your backyard. They distribute some of their little bars in some stores, here. My favorite is the dark chocolate with coconut. It's even better than Mounds. Unfortunately, they don't distribute that one, because coconut doesn't hold it's freshness like other popular confections do, and they don't want to risk their reputation on a store selling their candy that isn't pristine fresh. (Their explanation in an e-mail.) But, you can send for it.

nutsberryfarm 🏜: I've been a big fan of See's candies for years decades. Back in the day, my dad would get our family a 2-pound box for Christmas. So I always used to look forward to Christmas.
I'm glad Warren Buffett stepped in to rescue the company some years ago.
Fran's is excellent, too. I visited one of their stores (at University Village) some years ago. Very nice experience.

Oops! Sorry, Nuts ... I got mixed up ('spose I could blame a glass of wine, or "senior moment"), but neither is to blame. It's ZR who's in Seattle.
Yes, Fran's is glorious. You can see their catalog online, and order. Besides candy, they have some killer ice-cream toppings. My favorite is the dark chocolate ... mmmm.

Nutsberry - I'm not sure about the apricots. I don't see them in the stores, but they may still make them. Generally, the stores only sell the 'gift' boxes of chocolates.
