Harley was kicked from Harley vs Joker and Suicide Squad. Birds of Prey is now the only appearance, unless we're to assume Gotham City Sirens was happening (which I thought those were the same thing, but apparently they're 2 separate movies).

Leto also booted from Joker vs Harley, so that movie is basically scrapped, and he's booted from an entirely separate Joker solo movie they were in production on. Was this common knowledge? Leto vs Harley, Leto solo AND Phoenix solo? WTF?

I genuinely don't even know what's even being made now. I feel like a new movie gets announced every other week or something. They've announced 2 new movies this week.

I hadn't even heard of Harley vs. Joker being a thing.

So I've gone over to the DCEU page to have a look and these are the planned movies, this is completely separate from what's mentioned in the future movies.

Jesus Christ...there's almost more planned movies listed than there are actual MCU movies that have been made since 2008. Half those movies don't need to be even thought about yet.

They haven't even done a Batman movie yet and they're working on a Nightwing and Batgirl movie?

They haven't done a Flash movie yet and they're working on a Blue Beetle and Plastic Man movie?

Shazam hasn't even released yet and who know how that'll be and they're planning a movie for Black Adam? Why does he even need a movie? Why can't he just be in Shazam 2?

A Deathstroke movie? Why not make a Teen Titans movie and just have Deathstroke in it?

A Deadshot movie? A Lobo movie? A Trench movie? Why? We don't even have a proper Superman sequel and they're planning this bottom of the barrel stuff.

The Harley Quinn/Joker movie was announced back when they were planning a HQ shared universe a year or so ago. I liked their renewed enthusiasm but they seriously need to slow the fuck down.

As you put it, half of this shit can be combined into other movies. I'll help you, Supergirl can be introduced in Man of Steel 2 and they fight Lobo-how cool would that be? Lobo seems like a villain tailor-made for the now defunct Snyder-verse ironically enough.

Take away the ones I highlighted in bold and that leaves 7 movies left I can see them making in the next three or five years if they stuck to two or three a year. Not sure why they're making this so hard. Overcompensation for lost time?

Most these planned movies aren't what people are itching for, at least not yet.

Man of Steel 2, The Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter. That's what they should be focusing on before anything else.

They're probably biding time to see if Shazam will be a financial success (which considering its comparatively small budget it should be) before pushing anything major forward. Beginning with that film as it is, we'll be seeing a DC film every six months for the next couple years anyway.
