And it looks like the same kind of film hardcore MCU claim to love. I think it will be perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Not really. It looks closer to Green Lantern and those types of movies. Like Steel trying to be as big as Man of Steel. I'll even concede in saying it kinda looks close to the 1st Ant-man. |

A lot of people don't pay such close attention to the brand name. My Dad, for example, grew up on Marvel comics yet he asked me a few months ago if Aquaman was going to be in the next Avengers movie. Two of the people knew it was a DC movie though. They just thought it looked similar in tone to Ant Man and GotG with all the humor and self awareness. The third was my sister in law. And she isn't really into the genre anyway so... |

If people are mistaking Shazam for an MCU movie, WB has completely missed the mark with the property. Shazam is one of the most uniquely DC characters/stories in existence with it focus on mythical structure and square-jawed heroics. |
