So Two years ago, the CIA archives were published online after a lengthy legal battle. Not surprisingly, ever since people have been perusing and discussing them online.
One of the stranger files recently uncovered has an innocuous title, "Picture of a Man". Doesn't sound like anything too mysterious, does it? But when you take a look at the two images contained in the file, things get a little more perplexing.
Take a look at the links below (the first is an article discussing the figures, the second is a link to the actual file), and see what you think. There is probably a perfectly mundane explanation for these things, but it is the CIA, and they did carry out some odd projects over the years. If you have a good idea, that first site linked would like to hear it!
Weird. I'm really not sure what I should be actually thinking about that...
But, The only think that comes to mind, is something similar to Blue/Green screen, compositing for movies.
Where an actor is filmed against a Blue/Green Screen... Christopher Reeve as Superman for example...
The Special Effect Department replaces the Blue/Green Screen, behind him, with film footage of the sky and clouds taken from an Airplane... And then it looks like Superman is flying through the sky...
In this case... There are appears to be a serious problem with the color removal process...
Kind of like what happened with Rita (Andie MacDowell) at the beginning of the movie "Groundhog Day". She is wearing a Blue Coat, while standing in front of a Blue Screen. The "computer" removes all of the blue, and you can see the just her head, collar, and hands against the Weather Graphics.
But instead of "Weather Graphics" we seem to be looking at "Static" from a TV Channel that is not receiving any broadcast signal.
I can't explain why everything else is black...
In fact, I am even more confused, as to why these men appear to be only TWO Colors. Black & Static.
Are we even 100% sure that these are Authentic Photographs, and not just some Video Screen Captures from a composited image?
The only other possible explanation that I can come up with, is that, I guess... We really do live in "The Matrix", and these two men are not completely part of our "simulation". In other words, They are not tuned in to our "reality".
All I am going to say about that theory, is this:
My beliefs and such, just can't accept that as being possible in any way.
