I think she'll have a notable but limited role. End Game has been in the can now for ages yes? Post-production is another thing sure. If CM's standalone movie wasn't automatic, there's no way they'd hedge 20 movies or whatever macro arc on such a green character.
Look at Wakanda in IW, even after Black Panther's box office triumph, they still only really dabbled.

When Thor came to earth, he was humble enough to step back and let Cap call the shots because he recognised Steves sincerity, even though Thor has had hundreds maybe thousands of earth years experience in leading armies into battles. Id be super annoyed if Carol takes a forcible lead of the group in Endgame, like they did with purple hair lady in Last Jedi.

I think lesser filmmakers would go down that road, but something tells me the Russos, who have been with these characters from Winter Soldier through Civil War and then Infinity War, will have more respect for Cap & IM-- as well as not wanting to film a cliched scene like that. That said...your concern is warranted because that's the overwhelming sentiment in Hollywood these days. |

I hope Captain Marvel is deployed similar to Thor in the first Avengers or WW in Justice League. Primarily used for her physical powers to fight aliens without overshadowing the main leads authority or screen presence. |

Or a scene where she shows how much more powerful she is than Thor, Hulk or Vision similar to how Superman was portrayed in JL. Making Superman that powerful made the rest of the JL seem useless and I hope they don't do that with Captain Marvel. I originally thought they would kill off Thor in Infinity War and that Danvers would replace his role as powerhouse of the group. But with the success of Ragnarok I doubt they'd kill him off, so it would be interesting to see how they make space for the two considering Hulk and Vision are also there. They already nerfed Vision and Hulk in IW, hope they don't keep doing that. |

Probably be sort of like Thor's role in Infinity War. She shows up almost out of nowhere and gets shit done.
I'm convinced Ant-Man and The Quantum Realm will be pivotal too...

My guess is that there are going to be a couple key scenes in which she does something that Tony or Cap or Thor should have done just because she’s “the most powerful” and it’s going to be annoying as hell.
If anyone other than Thor kills Thanos I’m going to be livid.
