It was obvious when they announced The Batman that he was no longer Batman, but it's still sad to see him go. I wish he had better material to work with. As long as they keep Henry Cavill as Superman, I'll be fine.

As long as they keep Henry Cavill as Superman, I'll be fine. Cavill's most likely out the door as well, as are Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, JK Simmons, Diane Lane, and Jeremy Irons - which sucks. |

Disappointing because he only just got started. The first Batman to not actually be in a Batman movie.

To be honest, I didn't care for him as Batman. But that might be simply because of how much I disliked the movies he was in.

Disappointing. I know the films weren't well received but it didn't seem directed at him. It was nice seeing a seasoned Batman and I would've loved to see him in a great trilogy.

That really sucks. He wasn't even a terrible Batman.
Not going to lie I'm having a hard time caring about most of these upcoming DC films. Matt Reeves Batman better be the turning point.

Apparently according to Campea, Ben Affleck was one of if not the most in tune Hollywood A lister that had extensive knowledge of the Batman character.

Affleck's Batman was flat and uninteresting, IMO. His performance lacked tension and, was virtually free of any dynamics. Towards the end, he was just going through the motions...

He had potential to be the best Batman, but the material he was working with was abysmal. Hopefully the next guy to don the cape and cowl will have better luck.
