As far as I know the solo Batman movie will take place long before Man of Steel and it’ll be the younger version of Affleck’s Bruce. That might change or I could be misinterpreting Reeves’ comments, but I believe that’s what they’re going for. Who said that Batman had to be in future Justice League movies? |

Calling Batman the “most important member” is a stretch, at least from a storytelling standpoint. Sure, he’s the most popular (although his popularity seems to be waning in recent years), but I don’t think he’s vital to the team. |

He made the team and is the leader of the team, so at the very least they’ll have to explain in great detail why he’s gone if they decide to be rid of him. |
