HBK, HHH, CHYNA, OUTLAWS, X-PAC to be inducted into the HOF as D Generation X. The big deal here is Chyna finally getting some recognition again. Is WWE doing this before a Chyna solo induction as a form to test the waters?
Thoughts?

I think the acknowledgement of Chyna is just phony at this point, but it's still such a big deal, I just simply can't ignore it.

I actually love WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies.
we get some heart felt 'thanks' to a sports entertainers inspirations/colleagues/coworkers.....
I hope they acknowledge that they pretty much piggybacked off of the WCW/nWo since they were getting their a$$ kicked in the ratings.........but I'm not expecting it.
fanboys will claim, 'Oh - they were completely different from the nWo! they were like immature anti-heros!'
know who kicked off the attitude era?
this guy.

NWO and DX will always have their similarities because they were a split version of The Kliq. Originally long before Hall and Nash left they all were pushing for Vince to put them together as The Kliq on TV. Well Nash and Hall left and basically did their own version of The Kliq in the NWO. Vince then likely felt it was the right thing to do and put HBK and HHH and DX together as well. All in all both groups were heavily started/influenced by The Kliq.
Hell they even shouted each other out on TV while they were battling in the ratings. The Kliq buddies til the end.

DX ripped off the nWo ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/s8tffwvq1/cheers.gif)

Curious to know who will induct them. Hall and Nash would be fun choices. No idea who else could really do it imo.

Bret Hart would be great.
I remember the ending of Wrestling With Shadows where Hart's wife confronts Trips backstage.
Early days they had issues with Sgt. Slaughter. Is he still alive? Austin?
The Rock and 'The Nation of Domination'?
The Outsiders is the perfect choice IMO - it's a nod to their past and buddies who started it all.........

Bret would be awful. He is just so bitter about anything wrestling these days it's sad. It really puts a downer on his legacy imo. Rumors are the Hart Foundation will be getting in this year as well. Him, Neidhart, and Jimmy. Rock and Austin I doubt do it nor would they really be good choices imo. You want to hear stories and inside stuff like friends talking to the viewers imo. Since they're a group going in without like a manager IE Jim Cornette inducting the Midnight Express it's hard to pick anybody. So to me it makes sense for Hall and Nash as theyre all friends and can tell some fun stories to get some laughs. Nash is always a good interview on podcasts so he can do most of the talking if Hall isnt doing well (hopefully he is idk what his health is like these days). The only other person I can picture doing it would be Vince himself but I dont think that would be as good.

You need to go to 2nd level thinking here and realize that wrestling isn't real and is entertainment.
The Montreal Screwjob is one of the greatest 'worked' stories ever. Drama. Soap Opera.
Hence - Hart would be terrific.
Austin? Didn't he have an iconic match with HBK/DX with Tyson at 'Mania and at times feuded with DX over the years?
Hence - Austin would be terrific.
The Rock? Well - he's not only a wrestling legend but a film star.
Hence - The Rock would be terrific.
So your proposal of 'Mchmahon'?
Why? For what reasoning? That he ripped off WCW?
Well - that sucks donkey ass to me - what kind of drama and intrigue would that bring to a viewer?
Or maybe you'd prefer a woman's wrestler or somebody from NXT to induct them ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/ntbgu109l/odd.gif)

Is there literally ANYTHING we can agree upon in terms of professional wrestling? It sure doesnt seem so. You hate what I like about pro wrestling and I hate what you like about it. You'd think at some point there would be a common ground to agree upon something. None of those guys are going to have much to say in terms of stories about DX that celebrate them as HOF inducties. Which isnt what I want to see from an induction ceremony. They could probably get Tyson to do it. He would be better than Bret who will just say 5 words and want to get it over with.

Yeah - to each their own.
We're both fans. Just different fans.
Hart would bring a story full circle IMO - intriguing TV.
I love the nWo/Outsiders thought - brought this up in another post about the nWo inducting them to bring out a storyline the next night at 'Mania (I know you'd hate this idea - I hate the idea of wrestlers I don't care about at 'Mania) - i'd vomit a bit DX going over the nWo in the Hall and in a match but they were Vince's creation.......
I really can't think of anybody else - unless you think about the Brothers of Destruction - Yawn.
ratings wise - Hart would be a giant story.
