I'm not a big fan of Ezra but I really want to see a Flash movie before any other solo comic book character, so I'm torn on this news.

If they were smart and did it like Ant-Man, it would be a god movie, but we know they aren't smart. Yeah, a Flash movie doesn't have to be this gargantuan FX extravaganza. They ought to rein in the spectacle on this one and focus on the character driven aspect. Miller as Flash was for me one of the highlights of Justice League. His arc was clean and to the point, and I found him quite likable. The first movie could just be him solving the case to free his dad from incarceration, you know like a basic detective story. Save the world building to the post-credits-that's how they're supposed to be done ffs. Maybe drop a hint about Eobard Thawne or Grodd down the line.
