Why would Feige want to emulate the DCEU when the MCU is so much more successful by every metric? DCEU in only its 4th year and 4th movie had the 1st successful female-led superheo movie. MCU after 10+ years and 20 movies still hasn't had a female-led superhero movie. MCU Dictator Kevin Feige wants a total monopoly. That's why Feige is trying to emulate DCEU by making a female-led movie and making Captain Marvel (and the polarizing Brie Larson) the future face of MCU. It's Feige reacting to WB leading the way once again. LOL Way to cherry pick. DCEU couldn't make a billion dollars with either Batman v Superman OR Justice League. That's two colossal failures. The Avengers made 1.5 billion on their first try and without Spider-Man or any X-Men they were considered the B-Team.
The MCU's worst movie on Rotten Tomatoes is Thor: The Dark World at 66%. The only DCEU movie with a better RT score is Wonder Woman. The other 5 are worse than Thor: The Dark World.
Why would the MCU want to emulate the DCEU? At what point would Feige want to emulate the DCEU? Was it after the trainwreck of BvS, or after the trainwreck of Suicide Squad? Or was it after Man of Steel came out and made almost 700m which was a few months after Iron Man 3 came out and made $1.2 billion?

Accuses MCU of emulating DCEU, yet forgets Marvel released a Superhero Team movie, which was a huge success...and then DCEU do it 5 years later. Or that MCU releases a film about lesser known comic book criminals teaming up, which was a huge success...and then DCEU do it 2 years later.

But Wonder Woman wasn't the first female led superhero movie. But it's the MCU that was first to the $1 billion club, the first to the $2 billion club, and the first to receive a Best Picture nomination. Not to mention the bigger franchise in terms of box office and critical reviews. Wonder Woman was not only the 1st female-led superhero movje in more than a decade (after most studios, including MCU, thougjt a female-led superjero movie couldn't be successful) but also the 1st successful female-led superhero movie. Just as Superman: The Movie paved the way for all big-budget superhero movies (including the entire MCU), Wonder Woman has paved the way for all female-led superhero movies, including Captain Marvel. And DC wad the 1st to the $1 billion club with The Dark Knight, which is still the only CBM to ever win an Oscar in a major (acting, directing, producing, or writing) category. You can't have it both ways dude. You either limit your DC criteria to just the DCEU or you include the entire list of DC movies. If you want to say that Superman: The movie was the movie that paved the way for superhero movies and want to include TDK as proof that DC was first to the $1 billion club, then you'll also realize that DC took 39 years before it made Wonder Woman. And that the first few female-led DC movies were disasters. So if Captain Marvel is a success then it would have taken the MCU far less time to come up with a successful female movie than DC.

You can't throw in The Dark Knight because that's not part of the DCEU.

Nah, DC can make a $2b movie whenever they want. They've just been lulling the MCU and its fans into a false sense of complacency. They've got 'em right where they want 'em. Innit?

Making the character who has never been seen on screen before the strongest one would be a big mistake. This thing is been going on for 11 years and seeing all these characters we know and love get bitch slapped by Thanos would not resonate with longtime fans. Hell, it wouldn't resonate with people who just got into it but started with Iron Man.
Also, fair or not, Brie Larson has way too much heat on her. Making her the poster child for the franchise would also be another mistake.
