One thing it does show is how terrified D$sney must be. Not as terrified as the the poor little white men venting fury or cowering in a corner because of what some actress said.

I have never believed they bribe all critics but they have the sort of bargaining power to make this kind of thing happen.

PS. You are being sexist! Plenty of women dislike her SJW politics too.

If we are going on conspiracy, which even if you don't believe they bribed them but leveraged them to do it is still a conspiracy, then lets go whole hog. It's more believable conspiracy that Comcast owners of NBCUniversal is retaliating for Disney buying Fox. By removing it, it makes it look like they are bowing to Disney's pressure making Disney look bad.

Time will tell whether or not they have made a good decision with the "want to see" scores.

Its not really cowering in a corner is it? How on earth do you come to that conclusion. Brie larson is being hostile to a big proportion of the general audience and now RT has effectivly shut down any public dissedence by controlling what people are allowed to think on a upcoming movie. Classic case of if Larson/Disney can dish it out then they have to be able to take it too

Thanks Warner Bros for looking out for your favorite Comic company Tell us why you think RT shut that option down then. Do you think they weren't pleased with the amount of traffic that page was getting?

Do you think they weren't pleased with the amount of traffic that page was getting? Itโs exactly the same reason weโre on this site right now and not IMDB, surprised no one brought that up yet. Itโs not just a hate attack on Captain Marvel, itโs and attack on Rotten Tomatoes itself. Damage control all around.

Do you think they weren't pleased with the amount of traffic that page was getting? Because they have become the main, or most high profile platform it seems for these sort of reactions, campaigns etc. Maybe they don't want to be seen as the ones facilitating that.

I like how they're pretending it has nothing to do with Captain Marvel lol. I always found it to be pretty useless myself because every movie I ever saw was like 99% anyway but yeah funny how the one time it attracts some bad buzz for a movie and just like that it's canned. Look at the responses too 482/729 are angry about it. The Disney Empire strikes back! This should finally remove any doubt that RT has always been heavily-biased in favor of MCU. Lots of movies get bad ratings, but the 1st sign of an MCU movie getting a bad rating and suddenly RT starts censorship to hide the bad ratings. So you're going to pretend that you don't know that the "bad ratings" were the world of triggered snowflakes who were angry that the star of the movie requested more diversity on the press tour?

This was probably for the best. The moment these idiots started to attack a film that is 10 months away from its release, it was obvious that things were getting disturbingly out of hand.

This all Disney, they tried banning LATimes from screenings for unfavorable coverage of Disneyland. They tried to force Popular Oscar for Black Panther. Their strangle on Hollywood is scary.

How is RT biased in favor of the MCU when all RT does is just calculate all the good reviews and bad reviews they received? It's not RT's fault the MCU release good movies.

But if you point that out in the Bizarro World that is this board, you're accused of "not really believing it" and "just trying to hurt the MCU" by pathetic brainwashed worthless stupid mewling miserable sad little sheeple, as opposed to being regarded as, you know, an adult with the capacity for independent thought. As though any of this is good for American consumers in the long term, even the idiots embracing it with open arms and wallets.

Also, Disney doesn't even own RottenTomatoes at all. Warner Brothers and Universal do. Doesn't mean Disney wouldn't benefit from somehow rigging it. And that's the only explanation for their RT scores, so...
