I don't hate her, I just don't like her. But yes, she's not a Mary Sue. She might very well become one in the future, but she doesn't have enough "mary sue" points to become an actual mary sue. Simply being good at something isn't enough to become a mary sue. As for Captain Marvel, we don't know enough about her yet to determine whether she's a Mary Sue or not. I'm hoping the MCU is smart enough to not go down that route.
