Why not reboot it as a tv series? Give it a budget similar to Game of Thrones and limit it to 10 episodes.
I also believe that they should do this with the Harry Potter reboot.

I'd be happy with this. I probably wouldn't watch it, but I think the characters desperately need a break from the big screen. It's been twenty years of non stop X Men movies. I really don't want to see them in the MCU.

I second the motion for a little break from main X-men movies. Especially, Charles/Eric relationship and Wolverine.

That's actually not a terrible idea.

Gives them a more time to develop characters and world building. A movie could be done as a way to tell a big major event story, but they shouldn't be an often thing. Boom! I should be running this!

This would probably be the best way of making sure everyone's favourite characters don't get short changed. I still want to see them in cinemas, though.

They had better give the Fanstastic Four the big screen treatment though! If F4 gets a show instead of a movie I will be one angry Ackbar.

yeah that or we can experiment more ie Logan and New Mutants. There were also Gambit, Multiple Men, Kitty Pryde in the works at one point. Perhaps have 2 known faces and the rest new blood

I actually feel like this is the best direction they can take for this team. The X-men has too many members to properly characterize in a movie or two. A series with the production value of GOT or West World would be the best case scenario.
