www.sfchronicle.com/warriors/article/Warriors-poised-for-reunion-with-Andrew-Bogut-13661290.phpThe Warriors are expected to sign center Andrew Bogut for the remainder of the season after he receives his letter of clearance from the Australia National Basketball Leagueโs Sydney Kings, league sources have confirmed with The Chronicle. According to Yahoo Sports, the clearance process should take about 48 hours. Bogut, who played four seasons for Golden State and was a key rotation player for the 2014-15 championship team, chose the Warriors over two other title contenders: Philadelphia and Boston. Though he hasnโt played an NBA game in more than a year, the 34-year-old has impressed in his native Australia, averaging 11.4 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks for the Sydney Kings this past season to earn the NBL Best Defensive Player Award and be voted to the All-NBL First Team. Bogut, who was well-liked by teammates in his time with Golden State, provides Steve Kerrโs team frontcourt depth. The Warriors had been interested in filling their final roster spot with Chicago center Robin Lopez, but the Bulls opted not to buy him out. Bogut, like Lopez, is a savvy, defensive-oriented big man capable of matching up with some of the leagueโs best centers.

This is great, I loved Bogut, that was one of the best trades the Warriors ever made (for Monte ellis). They really need a good back up center righ tnow.

There seems to be a misprint in this article. It lists Boston as a title contender.

""I've kept in touch with people โ Draymond, Steph, Klay,โ Bogut said.
โIt's cool to go back to somewhere where I'm valued โ not only as a basketball player, but for basketball IQ and as a person, and hopefully I can add another ring to the collection."
