I liked the movie and i did not have a problem with Brie Larson`s performance.

I liked the movie and i did not have a problem with Brie Larson`s performance. I don't think Brie Larson deserves the hate she's getting. She definitely performed better in the role than people give her credit for. That said, it was one of the weaker casting choices of the MCU. They could have done much better.

Completely unbiased MCU fan's non spoller review of Captain Wamen. He says it is definitely one of the bottom 5 MCU movies and possibly one of the bottom 3. 
"The movie isn't bad. It's just so bland and a little mediocre."
Oh hell. 8 minutes in & they're still yapping about everything but the movie? They gotta show their cred knowing comics? Make sure they mention the male Mar-Vell & the black female Captain Marvel, but not Carol Danvers who was part of the male Mar-Vell's world & became Ms. Marvel in 1977 while the Kree Mar-Vel still had the Captain title. And you really like that wamen thing, don't you? Sad little threatened thing. Insecure people need to tear others down to boost their fragile egos. You can't face them as equals so you reduce them.

Not the best choice for the character, but she does fine with what she's given. Her performance works best when she has someone like SLJ to play off of.

Brie is a good actor but she doesn't have a lot of charisma. For her to shine she needs to be doing something, interacting with someone. If she's just standing around trying to look heroic she ends up very bland.
