Ben Revere had more pop in his bat.
Anytime Revere got the ball out over the infield my jaw pretty much dropped - was pretty much a Texas League Blooper in shallow left too...........
Was at least hoping Crawford would hit for average (i.e. like Revere did even if he had no power) - JP did .....well - nothing.
Harper signing? Getting Segura? Robertson? McCutchen?
No - Klentak's greatest move this offseason was getting Crawford and Santana out of here.

Hitting .222 in spring training. WOW
Never seen the fascination for this guy. Never hit above .265 above Class A ball. Sometimes teams, front office people, writer, fans they focus on a prospect and can only see the good and not the reality. Like Angels prospect Brandon Wood. Classic AAAA player, hit the shit out of the ball in the PCL, couldn't buy a hit in the AL. And year after year, the Angels wasted time and a roster space on this lump only to send him down after a month or two and a .185 BA. JP was never even a AAAA player, but he was still the savior until last season.

You mean the BS of them calling up Scott Kingery when he was 22?

Crawford’s hitting streak. The Rainiers rallied for an 8-6 victory in Albuquerque, scoring five times in a wacky ninth inning to snap a four-game losing skid. Crawford, who had a hit in 15 consecutive games after beginning the season 0-for-4 on opening day, went 0-for-4 with a walk
