If you ask me, I still think it's Thor. Followed by Dr. Strange. And only then followed by Captain Marvel who seems on par with Vision (as long as they don't gimp Vision).
What say you?

Note she'll have had a quarter century of adventures since to power up by the next time we see her.

Thor, Hulk, Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch are all more powerful then Captain Marvel. That's not just an opinion but fact!

How should we go about illustrating the difference between a fact and an opinion in this case?

Well in the big climax scene, she flew through a Kree spaceship like a bullet. That's pretty powerful

By the end of the movie I'd say she's the most powerful we've seen so far. Especially when you add in the speed she was showing. Even when pulled by the hammer and axe Thor can't reach those speeds.

She did not reach her full power potential until the very end of the movie when she removed that controller in her neck and realized that she had the tesseract power in her body and she could control it. For most of the movie she was much less powerful. Should I even be using spoiler tags? No one else seems to be bothering with them.

That's fastest, not most powerful. The definition of that is kinda tricky when you think on it. Is it attack power, being able to dish out damage? Bring able to take the most damage with solid attack powers so you can outlast anyone given time? Altering the nature of reality? A mental power that allows you to control one of the others considered most powerful? Being so smart and wise you know how to build anything to stop anyone because you know the secrets of the universe? Etc.

Ant-Man is the most powerful because he can make an ant play the drums

Well it's debatable though according to word of God she is.
I could probably agree that she is. Considering how effortlessly she handled Korath she's much stronger than Drax and and that was before she powered up more and Drax is about as strong or stronger than an Asgardian.
Before this movie, Thor definitely seemed like he was made out to be the most powerful after gaining the Storm breaker. Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch in any order in second and third.
If Feige hadn't said anything I'd have probably said Captain Marvel was second after the current Thor.

Read what I said again. Here it is to make it easier. "Especially when you add in the speed she was showing." More momentum plus strength would make you more powerful. Being smart and wise enough to build something doesn't make you powerful. It's like Batman and "prep time." Doesn't Wanda have to get kinda close to use her mind altering ability?

So basically she's a Mary Sue. No I thought she was going to be that way but she wasn't. She was inferior in skill to Jude Law and still had a bit trouble with him after she got her powers. Plus she has emotional issues that held her back initially. By the end she's pretty powerful but not the most powerful.

You're right that we've never seen Thor fly that fast... but we have seen Mjolnir fly that fast in TDW where got to outer space in matter of seconds. The way I see it: CM is faster in terms of flying speed and has better accuracy with her photon blasts. And when coated with her photon energy she seems very strong and tough. Without the photon energy though, Thor is clearly stronger and tougher physically. Plus he's a much better fighter. His lightning also seems a lot more destructive though he doesn't have CM's accuracy. In the end, I still think Thor is overall more powerful. The main difference is the movies are careful to not allow Thor to spam his lightning too much whereas they were perfectly fine allowing CM to spam her photon blasts.

Did you understand what I meant by the definition of most powerful being critical to the discussion of who is most powerful? This is basic logic, defining the terms.

I don't think there is a way to measure "overall most powerful". All the MCU heroes have powers and strengths that sometimes compliment each other.

But then you have him running away from the dragon in Ragnarök and barely staying ahead of it.
Both Thor and Danvers are wrecking balls. The difference is that Danvers is swinging on a wire while Thor is rolling on the ground.
