Now I don't want that Leo of Red Keep dude making statements such as "fools just believe in whatever comments they read" or such replies. Is it Tywin? It seemed like it is him.

He truly has one of the best voices anyone ever had. So elegant and so authoritative at the same time. If there was a true king, his voice would be like Charles Dance's.

I remember my fist time through I was unimpressed with Robert who had a few good moments but mostly came across as a buffoon to me. Then I got my first look at Tywin and my immediate reaction was now that's a king!

In the books I remember reading about a character who had confused him for the king while visit King's Landing and while Tywin was present in place of Aerys. Don't remember which character it was.
Do you remember who this character was who had confused Lord Tywin for King Aerys. Was it Stannis or was it, Oberyn Martell?

And Aerys was pissed and made Tywin suffer some slight or humiliation? I don't remember the books all that well anymore, I prefer the show, less cartoonish.

I used to think the backbone of the story was smart but I have come to consider it as merely intricate for the sake of twists and self-indulgent ramblings. The show made it into something worthy of adult consumption, I have no doubts on this. It turned caricatures into characters people could relate to, at least until it went down the mass pleasing drain and simplified Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion to death.

They ran out of story and material to work with, you have to help them fill in the blanks which I can see from the other thread you're adamantly unwilling to do. Do you really need to be spoon-fed everything or can you connect the dots on your own? Give Seven a try sometime with the goal of helping them with it as that's an even better way of noting their deficiencies and you still get to see some great and even awe-inspiring scenes and visuals.

They ran out of story and material to work with, No, this is not the reason. They are not incompetent, they made the material better earlier, for fuck's sake. They could continue if they wanted to. They don't because they understand that the money and fame come from pleasing idiots, not from smart writing.

Sometimes they did but there's a big difference when you're working without a net like they had to starting circa season five.
What do you consider 'smart writing' as opposed to 'pleasing fools?' What examples from the show would you use?

Making Cersei a responsible, consistent and straightforward character as opposed to a manipulative dumb bitch using men. Her opposition to Margaery, for example, is one of mentalities, the bluntly harsh against the deviously pleasing. This is why they dislike each other, in spite of trying to work together for a time. Turning Jaime's arc from leaving the woman who uses and betrays him in the books into one of finding his own way towards bi-directional social acceptance. Show-Jaime is a man who lacks the strength to face his reputation and eventually aims at restoring it when book-Jaime is a bitter cuckold. Making Tyrion the subtle architect of his own downfall. The show is littered with hints that Tyrion's preconceptions and actions are what escalates the antagonism and prevents the conciliation both his father and his sister are trying to offer.

I can't bear to see Daenerys', Arya's or Jon's faces any more. Can't bear to hear that disgusting Daenerys music either.

You can avoid those if you want, with Dany for instance just stare at her 'good heart' as Davos twitted Jon about once. For Arya just close your eyes and listen to her voice with that interesting diction. Jon actually has some interesting things to say this season as well, just focus on someone/something else.
