As a Nightmare on Elm Street fan, I ACTUALLY HATE Dream Warriors and prefer Freddy's Revenge and The Dream Master over that. Why do you hate Dream Warriors? I feel that my expectations for it were way too high due to hearing how a lot of the ANOES fans were gushing over it like crazy. I always wondered what was so great about the film and I wanted to watch it to see what was the big fuss. I watched it on Halloween 2017 on the SyFy Channel and I was literally left in tears and I didn't think I would be crying. I was crying for obvious reasons and not so obvious reasons. For the not so obvious reasons side, I was expecting more stuff to happen, I didn't like half of the characters, and it felt boring at times to me. Don't get me wrong. I liked the concept and some of the scenes where the characters were fighting Freddy in their dreams. But overall, I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

I always loved it as it’s the most fun of the series and the cast was great. It also has the perfect balance of humour and horror, and the kills are the best.

I used to frequent a website called Drew’s ScriptORama...where there was a collection of hundreds of movie scripts. Some claimed to be rough drafts and others fan made...but they were all for existing movies. The script for Dream Master originally had Taryn Joey and Kincaid show up in dreams as Dream Police. It sounds cheesy but they were described as dressed in all black biker outfits and had their Dream power...kincaids strength, Joey had a sonic scream and Taryns knives. They were there to help stop Freddy. It read very entertaining. Borderline superhero stuff.

Correction...looks like it was meant to be in part 6. It says they’d have brought in all the ‘Dream warriors’ But the script I read definitely only had the 3 I mentioned. wickedhorror.com/features/script-pieces-peter-jacksons-nightmare-elm-street-dream-lover/

Now that makes more sense. It seems more fitting for a ridiculous movie like Freddy’s Dead anyway.

That's your opinion. I have absolutely nothing against that. Like what you want to like. For me? The film DISAPPOINTED me so badly because I was expecting too much and it's actually one of my least favorite NOES films of the entire franchise right next to Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.

What did you think of the remake? Unlike most people, I actually like the remake. It could've been a lot better but I thought that Jackie Earle Haley's performance as Freddy Krueger was great, the concept of Freddy possibly being innocent was interesting, and I like the characters of Quintin and Kris. Nancy was lacking to me. But overall, I enjoyed the remake just fine.

They could've done a little better with some parts of the story and characters.

The last 40 years of "film-making" has been so awful and unoriginal.
Spielberg sucks.

2001 isn't in Kubrick's top 5 (though it's still really good).
Half-Blood Prince is the best Potter movie. Two Towers is the best LOTR movie.
DiCaprio gives the worst performance in The Departed.

The Hobbit trilogy is nearly unwatchable.
Quantum of Solace is Craig's best 007 movie.
Nicholas Cage is a hack.
My most re-watched movies that lack mass love are POTC 2 & 3.
