Sheffield United have now 'terminated' her contract.
Can't see as there will be many teams keen to snap her up.
No place for racism in football 👍

She is a hero who is stepping up against these bastards. I'm genuinely not sure if you are being serious or sarcastic? Someone give me a steer here please?

Still a bit of the good 'ole white supremacy in the German poster I see.
Having not followed this, does Jones have a point about the process? She seems to be saying she's been hung on scant evidence.

I'm tired that we shall live and praise diversity, while the Arabic world and also Black Africa persecutes white people/Christians. And even here it them who cause the most violence. What did one of Sterlings teacher said about him: either he will become a football star, or end up in prison. But how many of them can become football stars?! I don't want them here, and I have the right to have this opinion.

With all respect to your right to an opinion: keep it on the politics board eh? A person should not be subjected to abuse simply for playing football with their natural skin colour.

I'd like to hear the reasons. The evidence must be really overwhelming considering the damages to the accused. Suspension, fine and indoctrination training is all well on good. On top of that the accused has her public image left in tatters and career over for the foreseeable future. So the evidence must be pretty damning. Or is it a case of the decision made beforehand. Can't prove the accused is guilty but they also can't be seen as taking no action on racism or being complicit in racism so the accused is therefore guilty no matter what.

There are some folk around here who are desperate to cling to despicable old ways. Perhaps the FA just banned her for a laugh. Those days are going, thank God.

Many of these claims of racism are alleged only. Looks like we're in the days of allegations suffice and facts and evidence are not needed. Hence the claims of a kangaroo court.

Why not read Carl's link rather than going for the usual support the racist stance. An FA spokesperson said: "The case against Sophie Jones was heard by an Independent Regulatory Commission comprising two independent lawyers and a former football player and manager. "The written reasons in the case will be published in due course, which will provide a detailed account of the evidence given and the findings of the Commission."

How can it be a stance of support the racist when we don't know all the facts? My guess with this type of panel it will be a case of 'he said she said' and they will just take the word of one over the other. The group of people involved in the decision will in my opinion be heavily swayed by the FA who will want the brand protected and not want to be seen as throwing a black person under the bus thus being seem publicly as siding or being complicit in racism. They made up their minds before they even heard what the two players gave their side of things.

Everyone knows you always, and I mean always, crawl out of the woodwork to defend any incident of racism in football.

Give me a direct quote where I have defended racism in football where we know 100% a case of racism actually happened and I will talk with you about it.

I'm tired of racism. You are a disgrace. I oppose all forms of bigotry. You oppose some forms of bigotry, but not others. I'm tired of your hypocrisy. Sure as yer not comparing vile hatred of people based on 'race', with legitimate resistance to foreign occupation and oppression, are you?
