For me it was probably Apocalypse Now and Dumb & Dumber.

I mixed genres all the time. One that sticks out for me was Suicide Squad and Gods Not Dead. Because Suicide Squad I had a lot of fun with and really enjoyed while Gods Not Dead really bummed me out and pissed me off. It was a very odd reaction to two very different films.
