I've seen:
Dead of Night 1945 The Overlanders 1946 Hue and Cry 1947 Scott of the Antarctic 1948 Passport to Pimlico 1949 Whisky Galore! 1949' Kind Hearts and Coronets 1949 The Lavender Hill Mob 1951 The Man in the White Suit 1951 The Titfield Thunderbolt 1953 Meet Mr. Lucifer 1953 The Maggie 1954 The Ladykillers 1955 Barnacle Bill 1957
The MGM part I've read about , that they bought it and more or less buried it, and that the last movie was made in Australia, that part I've read about.
That they once were ATP I didn't know!, but might explain why I know about George Formby..
Swedish State Television and MGM had a deal once, that expired in 1979, so that might be the reason I've seen a lot those movies, I've just never made the connection.

Thank you, for that.
For so long, I have associated the Ealing Studios with delightful comedies. Now, I have much more to look forward to.

If you have not seen it, I strongly recommend you do so, if you get the chance. It is one of my favorite British films, up there with Powell & Pressburger and David Lean movies.

KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS and THE LAVENDER HILL MOB are among the best comedies of all time.
