before the start of the tournament, since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1985 (and 68 teams now)?
Including Villanova last year, I've picked the winner before the start of the tournament 15 times.

I won once when I was a kid when Montross was on the Tar Heels - think either Stack or Carter may have been on that team too that beat Michigan (Fab 5). Ever since then - I ran my mouth how I was an elite Bracketeer - and never won one since My old man used to take me home football pools - used to pick 4 teams and put $5 down to win $50 - it was college and pro with spreads - funny - used to win as a kid sporadically but got older and haven't won squat. my old man and uncle used to bet a lot - guess being around them it rubbed off on me when I was young - but maybe I lost the 'rub' as I get older and got away from them

Yeah you did!
Always love to hear people boast about unverifiable tidbits of accomplishment. I believe!

Yes, out of 68 teams in the tournament last year, I picked the correct winning team, which you admittedly weren't able to do.

It looks like you just copied screamingtreefrogs' prediction, who said Villanova long before you. The Patriots steal defensive signals and you steal sports predictions. Shameful.

You do realize we can see you edited your post, doofus. And that's ONE. God damn, you picked a #1 seed that was 36-4 and had won two years ago to win again. Tell me why you aren't working for CBS Sports or ESPN with your skills. Show me proof that you picked UConn in 2014.

Fuck if I know, but I do remember I picked Kansas the year they won it on a last second 3 from Mario Chambers? I wanna say. Think it was them vs Memphis. I won money that year. I've also picked Kentucky right once or twice. So I'd say maybe 5 tops.

Are we being trolled? Your link just leads back to this very thread. I have picked every soccer world cup winner til date and the proof already lies Jep's competition thread. I predicted France correctly whereas you predicted France and then later bailed out and changed to some other team.
Because I have the proof of one correct prediction I can make the claim that I predicted every competition in my life correctly. Even those world cups that happened before I was born.

you picked a #1 seed that was 36-4 and had won two years ago to win again. And yet, many people (including you) didn't pick Villanova last year. Show me proof that you picked UConn in 2014. I didn't pick UConn in 2014.

I have correctly predicted every NFL game ever played. For example, here's my post from week 2 last season when I correctly picked the Bears before the start of the game. Clear evidence of my claim

I also picked Kentucky that year they lost the National Championship to Arizona in OT.

I've also picked Kentucky right once or twice. So I'd say maybe 5 tops. Think I had that one too. I know I had Villanova in 2016, Duke in 2015, Kentucky in 2012 (my granny could have picked that one). After that, I really don't remember.
Actually, there hasn't been that many shockers in the last few years, other than 2014 bloodbath, where #7 UConn beat #8 Kentucky.
2018 - #1 seed Villanova (DC shining moment) 2017 - #1 seed North Carolina 2016 - #1 seed Villanova 2015 - #1 seed Duke 2014 - #7 seed UConn
2013 - #1 seed Louisville
2012 - #1 seed Kentucky 2011 - #3 seed UConn (a team with Kemba Walker, Shabazz Napier and Jim Calhoun) 2010 - #1 seed Duke 2009 - #1 seed UNC 2008 - #1 seed Kansas 2007 - #1 seed Florida 2006 - #3 seed Florida (with Joakim Noah, Corey Brewer and Al Hartford) 2005 - #1 seed UNC
See, other than UConn and a Florida team beginning a back to back run, #1 seeds prevail. Which makes my final between two #2 seed seem shaky now.

And don't say "I don't care if you believe me or not." You do care or you wouldn't have posted this bucket of bullshit. For some reason, you need to impress a bunch of anonymous people with your power of prediction that cannon be proven.
Did I ever tell you about the time I shot down 35 Messerschmidt's over Hamburg in WWII? Or when I swam from Seattle to Tokyo without a break?
