Which is your favourite defunct car brand?
Mine is DeSoto. How about you?

Studebaker! The name makes it sound like the cars were all stodgy land yachts, but that is so not the case:

Not long ago I went to their museum in South Bend, and I was amazed how well designed their cars were! Too bad they shut down in the 1960s, and didn't survive beyond that decade. Such a shame, since they really made some darn great cars. They may've been before my time(was born in 1982), but I can appreciate cool car designs when I see them! Also never knew a Studebaker car was in The Muppets Movie, till I visited that day. Nor did I know they used to design horse-powered wagons, before they got into cars.

Funny... I miss Pontiac too, but not that rebadged Korean car. I think it was built by Kia before they imported them here to the states under their own brand.
My favorites are:
Pontiac - GTO, Grand Prix (the '60s iteration), Bonneville (especially '59), Trans Am Oldsmobile - 442, Cutlass (from around '65 to '72), Toronado ('66 to '70) Plymouth - Road Runner, GTX, Fury, Cuda Imperial - '55 to '73, they were all beautiful. Desoto - especially the '57 and '58s. AMC - Marlin, Rambler American, Rebel, Matador, Javelin, AMX
Going way back, the Huppmobile and Pierce Arrow would be nice to have around...

It was an Opel Kadett before it was badged as a Daewoo and they were decent vehicles. Unkillable.
