I have a vague recollection of a scene that shows Catelyn Stark back from the dead after the Red Wedding - but she's not fully herself. The thing is, I am currently near the end of season 4 on my rewatch of the entire series, and that scene hasn't appeared yet.
Did such a scene exist? Or maybe it was on the book but not on the TV show? Or am I imagining it entirely?

It happens in the books, but not in the show.
As far as I'm aware, there is no fan film or any such thing that shows her resurrection either, so I'm not sure how its in your memory. Unless you read the books a long time ago and somehow conflated them with the show???

Unless you read the books a long time ago and somehow conflated them with the show??? That must be it then. I watched the first two seasons of the show, then I read books 3 through 5, then I watched seasons 3 through 7 as they came out. So it was all out of order and I did get confused at various points about what was in the books but not on the show and vice-versa.

There were photoshopped pics circulating. That combined with the books might’ve given you the memory of seeing a scene.

Especially since it never went anywhere, did it? She never reappeared later, as far as I can remember.

Lady Stoneheart is still an active character and is leading brotherhood without banners. She is a nuts and wanted to hang Brienne but Brienne somehow got out of it. Lady Stoneheart still has some parts to play in the coming books. Although I can understand your confusion given that she appears very infrequently in the books.

Yeah she sends Brienne to bring Jaime back to her to be hanged. That is the last we saw of her.
