Since yesterday, finally, the digitally restored Cinerama classic the golden head has finally been put on DVD and Blu-Ray after the restoration in 2012. It may not be the best Cinerama classic, but, here is the reason to buy it. It is an orphan film of M.g.m's that was its third Cinerama production beginning in 63. It was the first single strip Cinerama film. George Sanders, Buddy Hackett and Lorraine Powers and beautiful Budapest and Richard Thorpe director hold the film up well. Even though there is a professional glitch in which a little kid who plays honorable Augustus Smyth is not credited in the film, that's only a minor problem. The restored version of the 70mm cartoon," The Tale of Old Whiff and the short Fortress of peace.
