I don't know but didn't he and Phil Taylor have a set-to on more than one occasion? I remember seeing headlines, I think.
I used to like Cowboy Bob Anderson with his Western get-up, and Leighton Rees who had to feel the oche due to his beer gut preventing him from seeing it, and John Lowe who always looked like he was popping a mint into his mouth before throwing.
Plus others like Bristow, Wilson and Bobby George with all his bling. Characters, made darts worth watching.
