Will this fucking assholery never end? That LSD-induced quote will be enough to start "mergists" hoping again for the next six months easy. Groan. Yes, let's re-introduce the world to the concept of mutants with... drum roll please... Gambit. What a brilliant idea.

Kinberg is just giving PC correct answers, he wont reveal the real backstage dealings with Feige.
But I Tatum would make a good Remy.

I can kind of see it. Even the gloves? Be real now... I said "kinda". Let's remember Hugh Jackman was a metre taller than how Wolverine's typically drawn.

Let me state for the record that it has nothing to do with his acting ability, I did see The Hateful Eight. Hey it's cool. I thought Kitsch did fine with the very little he had to work with in Origins: Wolverine. Except I doubt we'll see him in anything costing north of $50M ever again.

Lets be real. There's no way this happens. Not in a million years. I like Tatum, so...sucks. But we live in a Disney world now.

That’s all I’m asking for but, all these ex X creatives who say all their films are still in motion are annoying. “I wrote a script for a live action Lockheed the Dragon movie on the back of some toilet paper I wiped my mom’s ass with and now me, Bob and Kev are doing a sit down. Stay tuned, true believers!” I’m not triggered but, I’m tweaked as hell.

Yeah, there's no way this happens. Feige is just humoring Kinberg for the sake of good manners and politeness during this transition period. I'm sure both Kinberg along with Lauren Shuler-Donner knows this and that their relevancy and level of involvement has faded. Feige has his own plans for the X-Men/Fantastic Four and they will be built for longevity from the ground up, taking the necessary time to do things right and not with the 20-year baggage from the old films nor these inherited little "in-development projects" that never came to light when they were sitting on Fox's shelves.

Based on interviews his plans for the X-Men date back to when he was working for Donner.
