Charles Weeghman owned a lunch counter in downtown Chicago. He made his fortune by just selling cold sandwiches so secretaries and workers could grab something quick and cheap for their limited lunch breaks. One of the pioneers of fast food.
He was also a big shot in the Illinois Ku Klux Klan.
