Maybe even writing interesting situations in general, smartphones I think just ruined a lot of funny situations.
for example watch a lot of things from the 90s it wouldn't work if you had a smartphone look at a show like Seinfeld a lot of those episodes wouldn't work with smartphones.
Alot of times in movies people go on funny adventures because they're lost or they don't know where to find something or they can't get a hold of people.

They don’t really matter to me. I’m not sure what you mean by “harder” though. I mean it's harder to write a funny situation. nowadays you can always get a hold of people you always know where you are you always can get information on anything or where to find things. |

I see what you mean. They do make life way easier and take the fun out of certain situations. |
