Granted, assuming your stomach (and wallet) can handle it, who wouldnβt feel better after downing three-dozen oysters? But again, itβs not just about oysters being a delicious delicacy; itβs about their chemical make-up. So donβt expect the doctor to necessarily prescribe a bottle of Champagne to go with them.

Considering how much I hate oysters and clams if I had to eat either it would not be good for my mental health.

Does this mean that the most intelligent people in the world are not to be found in universities but in oyster bars? Somehow I can picture the ancient philosophers meeting there. Food for thought.
