Way back in the day...I can remember attending a match between the English League and the Scottish League with one or two non-Scots playing for us and I think either an Irishman of Welshman playing for the English League.
How about reviving this with the addition of sides from La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Scandinavia, etc.? I know we all hate international breaks but this might be fun.
How many Englishmen would make the EPL side and similarly how many Scots would be selected for the EPL side?
