Players should not walk off because of something alleged. They play and are trained to ignore the crowd and any kind of heckling. The players get shouted at. It happens. On another point how can this be abused? You are losing with no way back and can walk off and blame racism? Another point, can you walk off because of any other kind of abuse you may think you hear? It's ridiculous. School children who are not millionaires get worse than this every day and can shrug it off yet these professional adult athletes whine and moan about alleged racism.

As has been mentioned, using the racism card to stop games is itself open to abuse. If someone in the crowd called out "sweaty sock" or "sheep shagger" or "wog" or Paddy" would that be enough to stop the game? And what about the songs and flags and banners? Isn't the Jewish/Israeli flag waved about at White Hart Labe? Couldn't that be seen as offensive? This is all because of the complaints from black players? Fair enough but they are not the only ones who get some stick. Scott Sinclair of Edouard up in Glasgow may dislike being called "black bastards" but that's nothing compared to the abuse that is dished out to "white" Catholics and Protestants

Is there any incident of racism in football you haven't sought to defend in some form or other 🤔

I know that things get heated especially in regards to sports. I know the difference between motivation and how things escalate. I know racial things are exaggerated. I will give my opinion.

A fan was killed at the same game in violence... Is that a players' fault as well. Stop excusing grown ass men. They alone are responsible for their vile racism, and violence. I've had hundreds of opposition players celebrate goals and wins in front of me... I've never suddenly become racist or violent because of it, because I'm an adult, not a wanker.
