Yes yes, it’s obviously not going to be the final film in the MCU, and there’s probably going to be a new big storyline that they’ll be building up to afterwards. I get that. With that said, Endgame is supposed to be the big finale to the so called “Infinity Saga” of the MCU, and is being treated as the single biggest event in the history of superhero movies. With that in mind, if the movie has end credit scenes that set up future movies, I think that would severely diminish the feeling that the movie is a “finale” of sorts. It’d be like if at the end of the final episode of Game of Thrones, we had a tease for an upcoming spin-off show. It would just cheapen the impact of the whole thing.
Just let the movie stand on its own in terms of what it means for the MCU, and don’t worry about the future. Let movies like Far From Home take care of that stuff. Besides, I think it’d be asking too much to expect people to sit through the credits of a movie that’s apparently three hours long.
Anyway, that’s my two cents, and regardless of what I think, I imagine there probably will be at least one post credit scene.

At the end of the credits Thanos will open his eyes.

I wonder judging by this article, if there will be a tease of the multiverse.

I stand by Kevin Feige's decision whatever it is. He's a motherfucking genius.

Excellent post. Agreed. It would feel odd having that post-credits scene for a huge finale.

I agree with you in theory, but you can't fault the company for wanting to put an advertisement at the end of the biggest cinema event of the year. Far From Home won't attract 1/3 as many viewers. I'll respect them if they ditch the post credit scene, but I won't be disappointed if we get one.

Life isn't cleancut. It doesn't end like a movie.
When my husband died, it was over for him. All the stuff he liked went on without him. Shows he watched. The child we had together.
So just because Avengers are unable to continue in their original form, they will continue.
So of course there should be post credit scenes

Not all end credit scenes set up future movies. Sometimes they're added just for fun or simply to give audiences something extra.

I say Endgame should have post credit scenes.

I'm fine with it as long as it's relevant to Endgame, like they did with The Avengers (Showing Thanos as the one who hooked Loki up with the army)
Other than that I'd rather they don't do one for Far from Home.

I highly doubt it would be for Far From Home. It would most likely reference something big, down the road in phase four.

LOL! The end credits will be the Infinity Stones floating off on their own into space...
(I'm waiting for Adam Warlock. GOTG vol 3?)

I've been on this side for awhile now. The post-credits scene should be 100% Stan Lee's final cameo. Mid-credits should be a virtual swooping 'trailer' of sorts for the MCU to come... Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange... etc.
