I'd like for a well rounded discussion here folks.
I don't judge and live my life by 'Live and Let Live'.
I live amongst apes who simply state - 'Well it's my second amendment right'.
Guess it makes them feel like a bigger man and tough guy
Let's keep in mind folks - I'm not igniting a war here - but trying to bring harmony between uneducated slow imbred half witted Gorillas and Intellectual Citizens.
Your thoughts?
Go!

The simple answer to gun control is this : If you have a gun because you live in a society that requires you to carry a gun around for safety, ask yourself what is wrong with your society. If you have a gun to protect yourself and your family, ask yourself why many other people and families in many other communities don’t. If you have a gun because it is your ‘right’, ask yourself why you don’t have the ‘right’ to legally use it whenever you feel like it. If you have a gun to form a militia against a tyrannical government, ask yourself why that government was elected in the first place. If you have a gun because it is a ‘tool’ or ‘useful’, ask yourself what is the ultimate use of an gun that can mow down large groups of people with ease, like what happened in Las Vegas and Christchurch
The simple answer to guns and gun control is that the USA has a severe problem of culture. There is a gun culture based solely on rights without any thought of responsibility. There is a culture of extreme selfism - the community / society is irrelevant, it’s what I want, need, have that is paramount and primary. There is a culture that crime is unavoidable and acceptable, and in many ways it is even glorified. There is a culture that the USA is completely infallible, and that what other countries do is wrong and the lesser way.
The big problem is that the USA is now so far down the road, it’s going to take 20-30 years to wind it back. After Sandy Hook, when a severely mentally retarded boy massacred small children with military grade weapons, you’d think something would’ve dropped in regards to gun control. Instead, the USA elected Trump and endorsed the NRA. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

Being living in the big city, I used to for strict gun control. I changed my mind when doing a cross country seeing much of the country that would need some weapons to protect their home so far away from other people. In fact, to think of it, the damage in many of the massacre would have been minimized if someone had a gun to take down the lunatic. I don't need a gun myself, but many other people do.

I don't own a gun but I fully support the rights of people to own them.
It rarely gets reported how often guns save lives.
