Corey Norman does it again for St George. An unlucky Newcastle had several chances to win the game in golden point, but it was the Dragons who stole the point just two minutes from the endnof extra time. The questionable recruiting of Norman is paying off.
For me the early rounds are about working out roles and tactics and winning enough to stay in touch with the front runners. At 2-2 they're doing that. Here's hoping it clicks and there's a strong second half ahead of us.

Whilst my Tigers were 2-0 and looking like world beaters, and played a shocker last week and couldn’t close out a close one on Friday, going down 9-8 to Penrith.
I still reckon if the Dragons stay injury free for most part (Widdop excepted of course), and De Belin is round not guilty and returns : they can give the whole premiership a shake.
Tigers - still think anything above the Bottom 4 is a good season.

On the Tigers- Any time you never trail a game in regular time and lose onba FG in Golden Point has to be classed as unlucky.
Season in general looks headed for a Grand Final rematch. We know the Storm and the Roosters are capable of maintaining their strong starts for a whole season. Hopefully a couple of other teams will step up because right now it looks headed in a very predictable direction.
In AFL- very open this year with Richmond hit hard by injuries and needing to win some games without Jack or else they'll be too far out of it by Round 9. Brisbsne 3-0 is a great story. As is GC and St Kilda 2-1.

I hate Golden Point. Nothing wrong with a draw.
The Roosters are the best bet to go back to back in a while. I’m not convinced by the Storm just yet.
AFL - haven’t seen a ball kicked. I’m on the wrong shifts at work ATM. I’m lucky to keep up with the NRL
