Primarily a pinch hitter, hitting .362 on the 1993 Dodgers (move aside rookie catcher they had!)?
In 2000 he set a single-season record with seven pinch homers.
He never had success as an everyday player.
Are there any current players with that level of pinch hitting success? Once the NL gets the DH we probably won't ever see a great pinch hitter again.

Actually Wilson (2001) tied the record set by Hansen (2000).
