Tony didn’t even know anyone at the wedding. Wealthy Indians just invite paid celebrities to their weddings for the prestige. Tony was after a cash grab when he should have been helping Peter who had reported serious concerns about the criminal use of Chitauri weaponry.

Are you a psychopath? None of that is true. He didn't recruit him into the occupation. Peter was fighting crime before he ever met Stark. He was overseeing him. That's why was there to help at the key moments and also why he told Peter to not get involved at a certain time and Peter chose to ignore him. Tony also asked Happy to be there to assist Peter when Tony couldn't be around. Is he supposed to hold his hand 24/7? Maybe he should move in with Peter and Aunt May to oversee him? There is no need for Stark to put his whole life on hold to babysit Peter. Peter was perfectly capable of being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. BTW, this movie has been around for quite some time. Did it really take you this long to come up with this totally random and pointless complaint to try and convince yourself that this isn't a great movie?

Y’know, I know this is trolling, but one of my favorite things about Downey’s Stark is that he is at times an unlikeable character—and always an imperfect one. That he’s perfectly open about being a superhero and basking in the fame is hilarious, naturalistic, and unique. Yet he’s very much a hero, not even an anti-hero. For my all my qualms about how the character sometimes irritates me, his uniqueness vis-à-vis cinematic superheroes is great.

Y’know, I know this is trolling, but one of my favorite things about Downey’s Stark is that he is at times an unlikeable character—and always an imperfect one. That he’s perfectly open about being a superhero and basking in the fame is hilarious, naturalistic, and unique. Yet he’s very much a hero, not even an anti-hero. For my all my qualms about how the character sometimes irritates me, his uniqueness vis-à-vis cinematic superheroes is great. It’s not trolling. You may think of it as a roguish charm but I find it to be irresponsible. He’s got enough money that he doesn’t need to whore his image especially when he has a job to do. He’s not a hero or even an anti-hero. He’s just a douchebag who causes a lot of trouble. Earth would be better if he stayed on Titan. |

RDJ doesn't write the scripts. So it isn't RDJ "playing himself" that results in Stark's entertaining persona. It is the combination of the writing, directing, and acting.
Also, you need to see more RDJ movies. He is a very versatile actor.

So when will it arrive? Also be sure to upload your essays on how Darcy Lewis is the most rounded and important female character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and also at least share one example of a movie that replicates the style and look of a Jack Kirby work better than Thor: Ragnarok does.
