other than maybe GotG2. Still, it has all the kind of jokes and humor that anti-MCU trolls regularly criticize about the MCU.
1. Making jokes while in a middle of a fight - Check 2. Pee/Poop/Turd/toilet jokes - Check 3. Hero goofily dancing around - Check 4. Making faces - Check 5. Hero making fun of villain in the middle of villain speech - Check 6. Jokes with sexual undertones - Check 7. Making fun of hero's costume - Check 8. Acting like a goofball and general horsing around - Check
And you know what? That didn't stop Shazam from being one of the best DCEU movies. Just goes to prove that having this kind of humor doesn't necessarily make a movie bad.

I’d argue that Iron Man 3 and Thor: Ragnarok were jokier. The opening scene of Shazam! was actually pretty serious, and even somewhat intense.

Now all the MCU fanatics are gonna come out and be like "See? They're copying MCU!", "See? The movie had way too many corny jokes!", "See? DCEU doesn't know how to make movies!"
It's coming...

I just finished rewatching IM3 recently, and it didn't actually have that many jokes in it. Not compared to some of the more modern MCU movies like GOTG or Dr. Strange anyway. Ragnarok had a bit more, especially with Thor screaming like a girl and the antics of Korg and Grandmaster, but the overall quantity of jokes still don't equal Shazam I think. You're right that there were a number of scenes in Shazam that were serious and intense, that still didn't stop them from injecting jokes every few moments. And like I said, it's not a bad thing. Just proves that having jokes doesn't necessarily make a movie bad.

I guess 'Iron Man 3' was more of a satirical comedy. It had a lot of dark humor. Like when the kid tells Tony about how his dad left them and Tony goes "stop being a pussy about it".

Now I'm just waiting for DC-Fan's review, because if he gives it a positive review, he would be a hypocrite.

It isn't, though. The movie's been out for days and the board isn't flooded with videos about why Shazam doesn't work, or it's a knockoff, or it's a failure because it didn't have the opening Captain Marvel did. MCU fans don't feel like they have anything to prove. I'm more of a Marvel fan than DC and I enjoyed Shazam. But it's exactly the kind of goofy comedy the DC zealots always complain about with Marvel.

I'm sorry, were you actually under the impression that the "DC fans" here really mean what they say; particularly when criticizing the MCU? You thought they were… genuine?

It's up there. But being dark was never the DCEU's problem and being jokey was never the MCU's problem. You can go either way and make a good or bad movie.
