It looked into The Flash and I see it has a 2021 release but we have been waiting to see The Rock as Black Adam for some time now. With the success of Shazam and production news, would you rather Black Adam release in 2021 an The Flash pushed to 2022 or the other way around?

I guess The Flash to get it out of the way already. Black Adam I think was going to begin production next year anyway.

Black Adam all the way. They have already fumbled enough with the Flash. Also, the Flash is a very difficult character get right because of the nature of his powers.

I've never been a fan of speedsters. It's too easy to make them overpowered (unless you write them inconsistently, which is what usually happens) and if they're the central character, that power gets stale fast. I'm in the minority of people who didn't like the Quicksilver sequences in the X-Men films. It was clever the first time but he was virtually omnipotent (and then they never used him again in the film, but I'll save that rant for another day). It was already a tired gag when they used it again in Apocalypse. (Also ironic that it was 100% played for laughs in a franchise whose followers insist does not go for cheap laughs.) Maybe the best scene featuring super speed to date was in Justice League, when Flash realized Superman was on his level. I liked that version of the character in general, but I can't say I'm waiting for his own feature. I'd much rather watch a Black Adam flick, either with or without Shazam.

I don't even see what the problem is with a Flash movie. I think that shit writes itself. After all, they've been doing a successful TV show for several years now. Whats the problem?
Here's my idea:
He knows his father is blamed for his mothers death. So he starts experimenting with moving so fast that he can actually go back in time to either stop his mothers death or at least get proof that his father didn't kill her. But instead he ends up creating a time paradox like in Back to the Future Part 2.
The rest of the movie is him trying to set things right, some villain (whomever) tries to use Flash's time travel ability for his own nefarious purposes, and throw in a cameo or two from other DC characters/actors, and voila, hilarity ensues! Simple.
Whats the problem? I would'a made this movie already!
And I know how to solve the Cyborg problem too. Just put him in someone elses movie as a supporting character! MCU has done it successfully with Hulk and Iron Man, twice! It would work!

Success is a relative term. Successful on the CW equals total flop on any other broadcast network.

I think the best way to handle speedsters is to show them still getting tired and still getting hurt. After all, superspeed shouldn't equate to unlimited stamina or super durability. So it might have only taken them a second to run 5 miles but they should still be huffing and puffing at the end of that. Plus if they ever trip and get into an accident at the speed they're going, that should still have severe consequences for them. Because of this, my favorite speedster depiction on screen is actually AoU's Quicksilver. As far as I can tell, he's the only speedster we've seen that shows hints of getting winded after running. I also like that he seems very impatient with people, which is a result of him being super fast.

As for this thread: Black Adam without a doubt.
We already have a Flash TV series. We've seen him appear in JL.
Black Adam sounds way more interesting, especially if they play up his anti-hero qualities.

He's the only speedster in the history of speedsters who is too slow to catch, deflect, or stop a speeding bullet in midair.

Some of us don't.

It’s not that hard. It doesn’t even have to be a faithful adaptation of Flashpoint. WB is just being chickenshit.
