" IF they ever make an MOS 2"
They did, it was called Batman v Superman.
But as for a new Supes movie, definitely Brainiac. Yes, he's a potential JL threat, but we aren't getting another one of those any time soon.

These are all solid ideas but they will remain as such until they get a new actor.

I would like to see Brainiac but he is a world ending threat and people would wonder where the Justice League is. Plus I woudnt want yet another alien invasion plot, but thats just me. Is the Justice League a publicly known thing? Unless Lois wrote something then not that many saw them together besides some cops and eastern Europeans (was that Russia?).

Well Lex Luthor knew about them in the end credits scene. Since we have seen most of them covered in the media in the DCEU, it is probably safe to assume that the world finds out that they work together sometimes.

And in Justice League, they were standing out in a public square seen by cops and civilians. People know who Arthur Curry is in Aquaman.

I can see him easily getting that info. And at the end they went back to doing things individually again. We didn't see Aquaman helping Diana stop those bank robbers(?). All we saw was Superman and the Flash racing in the middle of nowhere.

If, IF, they ever make an MOS 2 or a new Superman movie, what would you most like to see in terms of story and/or villain?
I think Brainiac would be the way to go since we've never actually seen it done. Its been hinted that they'd do it in other movies that never got made, so I say go for it already. He's a villain that poses a real threat.
I wouldn't want to see another reboot or origin story.
My idea goes back to Krypton, but not to rehash the origin. Rather to bring out some elements that would impact the story, but not the origin parts. In the movies its never been made 100% clear what exactly destroys Krypton other than hinting at a natural disaster, and I'd like to get into that a little bit.
And yet when Man of Rehash was released, all they did is give us a worthless rehashed origin story with the SAME old tired villains that had been used in Superman movies for three decades.
RATHER than complain, MOS fanboys APPLAUDED this bottom-of-the-barrel "creative" effort and defended that decision tooth-and-nail, actually arguing Man of Rehash was "fresh" and "new" and that they were "trying to do something different".
MOS fanboys made their bed and now they have to go lay in it. If they're pleased at seeing the whole Krypton origin story recycled endlessly and seeing Lex Luthor and General Zod as bad guys for the umpteeth time, Warner Bros. will be happy to oblige and keep theming that over and over again. Sorry, can't have it both ways. You happily pay for endless lazy rehashes, that's what you'll get.

That's one opinion. Here's another, in the form of a few questions...
How many times in a movie have you seen the origin of Superman? The destruction of Krypton? The use of Zod as a villain? I'll grant you Luthor. No argument there. But the others?
ONCE!!!
In the seventies!!!
And it didn't happen again until the 2010's!!!
So really what's all this talk about rehash? If you're going to start a fresh new franchise/universe you'd have to start at the beginning, wouldn't you? So the audience aren't confused?
