Mary's body Herself... I know. Not just Hers or Jesus's. Why do think Jesus said we are all children of God and "This you will do and more"? He was trying to tell people about the power contained in the human body--the spirit. When did the Ark go from being a gold plated wooden chest designed to house the Ten Commandments tablets (the design and construction of which is elaborated to quite a bit of detail in the Old Testament) to being the human body? In the O.T. God killed someone for touching the Ark even though that person was just trying to help steady it. At what point in this transition did touching the Ark become non-lethal?

Jesus is the Covenant, Mary is the Ark. If you're a Christian anyway.

I think you’re taking those verses a bit out of context. For a start only saved born-again Christians are considered children of God. And the “greater things we do” Jesus was referring to will only be accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit, not our own. Or maybe you are the one(s) misinterpreting and not understanding. I quoted Jesus's own words. If you want to put your own meaning to them, go ahead. Well the scripture is quite explicit on this: “Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”GALATIANS 3:24-26 Only through faith in Christ can one be considered a son of God.

Jesus is the Covenant, Mary is the Ark. If you're a Christian anyway. What about that gold box in the Old Testament? It's symbolism.
You think people back then had the vocabulary to describe the paranormal/spiritual? They didn't.
Even twits today take the Bible literally and use its allegories to ridicule it and God.

Nah I didn’t really expect you to be capable. To be honest, I don't care what you think. I attended a Requiem Mass this morning... I have prayed the Rosary twice round today... and am preparing to pray the Stations of the Cross this evening... before I break Friday Lenten fast afterwards. What you think is pretty low down on my day's to do list.

No, you quoted words supposedly said by a figure who may or may not have existed or may or may not be a composite character, that were written many years later and were in no ways contemporary. You act as a fundamentalist would, are you one?

They seem to have a complete lack of understanding as to how the gospels were chosen and put together in almost a jigsaw fashion from other contemporary works which have often come to light in the last century or two. Random quotations fail to take any context from the geopolitical and and church politics that played such a crucial part in the way the Bible was constructed, especially with the exclusion of any gnostic thought. In America they are still a big voice in church matters I believe though.

Obsessed with cherry picking bits of the old testament that support their personal prejudices only, whilst ignoring others. Willfully failing to accept Christ's teaching, and denying his covenant. To them Christianity is a flag of convenience only.
