After seeing the Fool in the North committing the biggest blunder ever by helping the Night King pass the Wall and calling for World War I type massive and brainless effort that can only lead to self-slaughter I really like the idea of Cersei being instrumental in bringing the proper solution through Qyburn.

Just about 57 hours to go. By which episode do you believe Cersei will start getting her men to clean up the mess?

Counting hours, are we?
She has started already. Qyburn looking at that hand in S7 was the starting point as well as foreshadowing that something will come out of King's Landing that the idiots in the north can't possibly think of. Think about it, they made even Sam stupid.

"S8 prediction: Cersei will clean up the mess"
She's already cleaned up one mess.
And with all that time Euron spent at sea, I'm sure it was a doozy.

No moron Cersei will not be the one that ends up on the throne She's already there, dumbfuck. Why is it that your kind only needs one sentence to show they can't even make sense of what they are saying?

I kind of liked the scene. She REALLY did not want to, and I was hoping she wouldn't, but the scene still played very well. I like how they did not show anything either. There was no need to. "You are awfully arrogant. I like that." One of the better lines of the episode.

He is literally her only ally, besides a mercenary group of sell swords we know nothing about, save that they have bad fighters and no elephants.

Yes, Cersei had to but what we see here is an actress discussing what she would have liked a character to be and there is a point in playing characters who make mistakes or act in irrational ways. Actors don't care for the well being of their characters, they want them to be interesting and remembered.
